Here is a pair of Grass Snakes seen basking early this morning in Landseer Park by David Dowding from the IBC Wildlife Team. These reptiles are clearly benefiting from the recently created ponds, which supply them with a ready source of amphibian food (newts, fogs & toads).
And a video clip of one deciding it was time to leave…
